CEO / CTO - William Stewart

Bill has been working in the software industry since 1982.  Before founding Cirrus Computing, he spent 12 years with one of the most professional and disliked aerospace companies in the world, where he served variously as software engineering manager and system engineering manager, and chief engineer and project manager of several complex system integration projects. Before that, he received a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of New Brunswick for development of algorithms that build multi-dimensional convex hulls in optimal space and time, which to his knowledge has never been used for anything practical, and taught computer science courses.  His first job was in 1982 with the Canadian Public Service, managing a new computing center and developing enterprise support applications. Bill is an individual member with the Linux Foundation, author of a light-weight software package licensed under the GPL, and maintainer of FreeOpenSourceSoftware.org. He is also author of the first web published book LivingInternet.com, the ISO 9000 best practices collection FunStandard.org.

VP Marketing & Sales - Bradley Pinch

Brad brings 25 years of experience working with both established companies and new entrepreneurial firms serving in senior sales, marketing, and consulting roles. Before joining Cirrus Computing he served as International Marketing and Sales Manager for Canada's leading commercial fishing sonar manufacturer, where he continued to add to what his engineering colleagues grudgingly refer to as a surprisingly deep understanding of technology. Previously he has worked in executive roles for Convergys Ottawa, Digby Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Hospital Foundation, and Habitat for Humanities. He has received several awards for business stewardship, community development, and sales achievement, and has helped launch three non-profit foundations. He has published articles on small business management, professional development, sales techniques, and business/marketing/branding strategies. He received a B.A. from Carleton University, and is a registered adult educator and sales trainer.
